The haunted estate

I recently decided to create a monthly Qultura community newsletter which I deliver to local residents living on my estate in Nine Elms. I got my HP laser printer working so this is simply a two page affair printed out both sides which I put through people's letterboxes on the estate with a few short articles and details about Qultura and community meetings which take place at the ROSE, a community centre on the estate. What I do with Qultura is supported by Wandsworth Council (not financially of course, but still..) and it's essentially rebuilding efforts for the Qultura community which anyone can join, come along, and talk about deeper stuff in life and mystical subjects which you generally don't talk about in everyday conversation.
On the first page I wrote a short article about Jack, which is a name I've given to a ghost which apparently haunts the Savona Estate where I live. 'Jack' is a bald headed man in his 40's or so, dressed in 1940's clothing, a bomber jacket, and seems to be anxious or worried, often claiming that 'there is no way out' or that he's somehow trapped. He's usually seen outside the blocks of flats on the estate, or hanging around in a children's playground, often looking up at the flats, and sometimes has appeared in someone's flat. I've never seen Jack, partly because I'm more clairsentient than clairvoyant, which means I tend to 'feel' or sense paranormal phenomena rather than seeing or hearing anything. But a few people have mentioned seeing Jack or Lisa, my former next door neighbour who died a few years ago from an alcohol overdose.
So last week I printed out a few copies of this newsletter and left a couple of copies behind at the local council's warm bank. I got to the warm bank late and essentially dropped by to see if the idea of delivering a newsletter would work. I still struggle with finding ways of getting people interested enough to want to come to the Qultura community meetings. As Qultura itself is a method for developing consciousness and mindfulness based on learning about mystical principles, and mysticism can mean anything to anyone, it's not something that's precise where you can just say a word and everyone gets it, such as yoga. This is both a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing because once you get involved you can pretty much say and do anything and Qultura will work for you. It's a curse because it's a pain in the arse to try and describe without getting into a deep conversation with someone, which can be a bit hit and miss.
