You don't need anyone's permission to be a human being

When people are seeking advice you get a subset of questions relating to boundaries. Can I do this? Is it possible to do that? How do I move on? How do I deal with? I'm not sure whether you've noticed this or you've asked such questions yourself. The way I see this someone is usually always trying to make a choice. They see the possibilities and opportunities. But then in thinking this through and following a thought process, known as consideration, they come up against a boundary or limitation. Then they get stuck. In some cases, especially in relationship issues, the actual subtext of the question is "Can I get away with this?"
Usually what you find is that, exploring this further and digging deep to get behind the question, the boundary or limitation in question arises out of Ego, or socialization, or the existing model of reality we all walk around with.
Now I could go into the whole issue of control and external authority, but I won't because I feel I've written about this in the past. What I want to get into here are the meta-physical issues in life, the fields and the dimensions, the boundaries, and the different ways we restrict ourselves and limit ourselves from a position of Ego. We fear what other people will think of us. We are afraid of making mistakes or getting things wrong. We are afraid of being misunderstood. In some cases we have to give ourselves permission to spend money or get that bar of chocolate. In other cases we are afraid of not living up to the image of who we are.
The issue here, which is motivating the question, is that you're in judging mode, and when you're in judging mode you compare yourself to others and limit yourself through imposing arbitrary boundaries and limitations. You're sacrificing an experience to keep up appearances or your image or reputation.
